Wenn Kolleginnen und Kollegen sich am Gang begeistert Urlaubsfotos zeigen und die gerade noch verwaisten Büros wieder voller werden, neigt sich der Sommer langsam dem Ende zu. Bevor es im September aber wieder so richtig losgeht, gibt es im August noch etwas mehr Luft, um über Gott und die Welt zu reflektieren. Ganz nach diesem Motto ist die Politische Akademie auch dieses Jahr wieder Partner beim Europäischen Forum Alpbach und bietet zwei Gelegenheiten zum gemeinsamen Nachdenken.

Digitization, datafication and hybrid working environments are constantly changing our knowledge society. The half-life of knowledge is shrinking and it is becoming increasingly difficult to distinguish relevant from irrelevant information. Building on these new realities, society must proactively develop solutions. The requirement profiles of politics, business and schools must be recalibrated. Which core competencies and key skills will be in demand and necessary in the future to ensure and safeguard the competitiveness of the European economy and education systems alike? And what skills do we subsume under the term humanistic education in the 21st century?

Trust in politics has been shaken, and identity politics excludes parts of society from the discourse. In this session, the Political Academy wants to explore the question of how to strengthen social cohesion again.
